Feeling like a vacation was in order, and having trouble passing up a good deal, we signed up – not sure what to expect. Our experience proved that you truly get what you pay for – if you pay less than a full fare guest you get less than a full fare guest – it's that simple. We checked in on a Saturday afternoon. When we entered to property we were impressed, it's very pretty. The check-in process was fine, but we later learned that there were quite a few pieces of information that were skipped, and they may have been helpful for our … Date of stay: July 2008 To'ere wrote a review Jul 2008 San Ramon, California 8 contributions 57 helpful votes The Good- This is a timeshare condo style property that's managed by Marriott. The resort is new and the furnishings top notch. Now that we've gotten the "4 Seasons/Ritz Carlton" itch scratched (see previous reviews), we've found that our travel style really meshes nicely with a semi resort/semi condo style facility. We absolutely loved the full kitchen and washer/dryer in our extremely spacious unit.

There is nothing like making a leisurely breakfast for the kids while we eased into our day. It's away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu/Waikiki, but seriously, it's less than a half hour drive to get to that part of town. We prefer to commute in to visit those areas and relax in our little paradise at Ko'Olina. The grounds are landscaped with lush tropical plantings including a sizeable koi pond. Their are two large pools just outside the main lobby. … Date of stay: July 2008 Seattle 3 contributions 2 helpful votes From the moment we drove onto the property we were awed by the beauty of the grounds. The staff greeted us immediately and directed us to where we needed to go to check in. We had arrived a little early so our room was not quite ready but they stored our luggage and brought it to our room later. Our 1 and half year old son absolutely loved the childrens pool and all the open area to run around. Needless to say that our 1 bedroom villa had exceeded our expectations and was spotless. Even though there was construction going on it did not interfere at all with the tranquility of the property. This is definitely a fabulous place to come with children because of all the activities and it is just kid friendly. The cabanas on the beach are fabulous and are extremely reasonable. We went for our ten year anniversary and enjoyed every minute. We stayed in a one bedroom villa. The room was beautiful and clean. It is definitely a family resort and we didn't mind all the children in the pool and on the grounds. We will definitely bring our children back to visit. The restaurants were great, especially Chuck's. We also sat at the restaurant/bar a few nights and enjoyed that. The entertainment was superb. There is even an adult jacuzzi right by the entertainment. We enjoyed sitting in the jacuzzi with our drinks while listening to the live music. Very romantic! Although this is a family resort, it is very peaceful, relaxing, and worth every penny. The snorkeling in the lagoons is not the greatest, but we found amazing fish and … Date of stay: July 2008 Cowlin wrote a review Jul 2008 Kentfield, California 37 contributions 29 helpful votes Oh, what to say about the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club? My fiancé and I stayed 5 nights last week. We visit Hawaii often and had received a offer on a room for 5 nights – the only catch was a 90-minute time-share presentation from Marriott.

Wow! We had such a great time. I went with my family which consists of a daughter 6, a son 11 and a daughter 18. I got this time share week as a gift from one of our friends. ( nice friend) We stayed in a beautiful 2 room suite facing the pool. The suites had a large central dining area w/ a pull out sofa and two large seperate bedrooms. The suite had nice wood trim and high recessed ceilings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This resort has one main beach lagoon with (chairs & cabanas) and two other lagoons leading down a path to a hotel on the same development, the JW Mariott.
